PAYTM SCAM !!!
The biggest scam that every Indian must be aware of is PAYTM SCAM.
Paytm is an Indian e-commerce payment system and digital wallet company. Paytm is commonly used in India.
Paytm is more commonly used now a days instead of using cash and debit/credit cards we are using paytm.
Now a days in India customers of paytm increases day by day. Maximum shopkeepers have PAYTM in their shops.
Something like that !!!

When we go to buy something and pay using paytm..
There are 2 options to pay via paytm
  1. Using your mobile no.
  2. Using scan paytm code
After the successful payment we will show the transaction to the shopkeeper . Something similar to this.
This is real

The shopkeeper doesn't check the message because we showed him success payment page.
Now fake patym app !!!
Now here comes the fake paytm payment app. In this fake patym app we have to enter some details like mobile number , name , amount etc .
Looks like that

After entering the details the success transaction page is created by this app.
This is fake

Fake customers show this page to shopkeeper and he thinks that he receives money .
Some uneducated people also using paytm these days. Please don't cheat with these type of people. They are earning money for their family.
So, beware friends, Please inform about this fake app to your family/friends who is receiving money through paytm payment app.
Please spread awareness about this fake application or PAYTM SCAM .
Precautions for shopkeepers and who is receiving money through paytm
  1. Don't accept payment via mobile number.
  2. Please accept payment through QR code only .
  3. Please check the message after receiving the payment or check the wallat balance in paytm app.
